The number 1 thing I see photographers doing that is holding them back from booking their dream clients is: not taking the time to educate them.
Not educating them on the value of your service.
What information are you providing potential clients upfront? Are you taking the time to make sure they are properly educated on the value of what your service entails?
A big part of the initial inquiry process is expanding their minds on what they think their wedding day can look like. Afterall, you are the professional that they are paying for your knowledge. So make sure you don’t skimp out on the opportunity to connect with them and educate them on the value of your services.
