Improve Your Online Presence in These 3 Ways

improve your online presence

If you are tired of getting ghosted by potential clients, you need to improve your presence online! But how do you do this? I’ll help you with that! The stronger your online presence, the more likely you will be able to be trusted by potential clients and the less likely they are to leave you hangin!

Improve Your Online Presence

There are a few ways you can go about improving your online presence:

Branding

By having a strong brand identity both online and in person, it will make people more likely to trust in you and your process. For example, this involves having a consistent editing style, which usually comes pretty easy to us photographers once we find our style. This also included using the same fonts across all online presences, or the best you can, to give you more brand recognition.

Make sure your copyright aligns with your brand voice and is TRUE TO YOU. Make sure you use the same verbiage, icons, emojis, etc. This will help create a consistent brand voice for people to recognize and pick up on to know it is you and your brand.

Variety

How many social media platforms are you on and how are you utilizing each of the to your fullest potential? Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, a Blog, Email Marketing, etc. are all options to take advantage of. Make sure you are spreading yourself over all platforms because not everyone will see you on just the one, or not everyone will see your posts on one, so make sure to reuse content across all platforms.

For example, take a blog post you’ve created, make an instagram post/caption out of it, create a rich pin to pin it to pinterest to link back to your blog post, create an email about it to send to your list, make a fun TikTok video on it, etc. Use that same piece of content on ALL platforms so you don’t feel like you have to constantly come up with new content

Consistency

Come up with a consistent content plan for all of your social media accounts / online presence to stay relevant. Without a plan, you can plan to fail. I have purposely taken a break the past month or so and my engagement from my accounts has been hurting because of it. I knew this was going to happen, but I needed a much needed break and separation from it all. Now it’s even harder to get back into it. If you end up having an unplanned break however, it is so important to make sure you have a content calendar and plan for your absence to stay relevant and consistent. This could be having someone help manage your instagram account, getting a tailwind account for your Pinterest, creating emails to automate a head of time, etc.

Final Thoughts

By improving on these 3 things, it will help build trust with your audience and potential clients so they know they can trust you and count on you to deliver what you say and show up.

The more you can build that trust with them, the less likely you are going to get ghosted because you have already built trust and a relationship with them before you even begin to work with them. They will most likely feel like they know you and owe it to you to let you know where they stand.

I absolutely LOVE client connection and client experience and think it’s so dang important! So I created a fun quiz to take to figure out what type of Client Connector you are and how you can use that to your advantage in your Client Experience workflow as well as ways you can improve on it!
