I want to feature my sweet friend and current student, Kelly Friday of Kelly Friday Photography! She is a Minnesota-based wedding photographer serving Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding areas. Her work is known for being timeless, true to color, and full of genuine, joyful moments. Kelly has a way of making couples feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which allows real connection to shine through in every gallery.

Clients consistently describe Kelly as present, intentional, and easygoing; someone who brings a calm, but super fun energy to the wedding day while staying organized and on top of every detail. From the planning process to the final images, she creates an experience that feels supportive and stress-free, helping couples fully enjoy their day.

Kelly’s Experience with Passion to Profit

Kelly Friday is one of my students in my Passion to Profit coaching program and is currently on her third year in the program! I’ve been able to watch her business transform over these past few years, and I couldn’t be more proud!

What season of business were you in before joining the coaching program?

I just made my move to go full time and quite my 9-5. The year I started coaching with Rachel in Passion to Profit I was a full-time social worker, and made only $40k the year before. My first year coaching with Rachel, I brought in $76k, the second year I made $85k, and my third year with Rachel, I hit $115k by the end of October this year. 

What made you want to invest in coaching at that time?

I was motivated to make changes to explode my business to the next level, but I had NO clue what to do.

What were you struggling with or feeling stuck on before joining?

I did not have a brand identity. I was really just thinking “hey if I post my photos people will see them and book me” but BOY was I wrong. My organization on my back end was not serving my clients.

How has the program helped you get clarity, grow, or shift your business?

Passion to Profit has helped me in every area of my business. From the beginning, I found out how to create my brand identity, identify my ideal clients, how to speak to those ideal clients, how to nurture them from beginning to end, how to set up funnels on my social media, blog, market, organize my business, and SO much more!

What has changed for you the most since joining (mindset, bookings, pricing, confidence, systems, etc.)?

Being in Passion to Profit has changed my entire business in every category but overall, my confidence. Rachel has instilled a confidence in my that has trickled down into my mindset, my systems, bookings, and pricing. My wedding packages were around $2,000 when starting P2P and now my LOWEST is at $5,300 and I had 19 weddings booked for the 2026 season by October of 2025.

Can you share any specific wins or results you’ve experienced?

My wedding packages were around $2,000 when starting P2P and now my LOWEST is at $5,300 and I had 21 weddings booked for the 2026 season by December 1, 2025. And of those 21 weddings, 10 of them are at extremely highly preferred venues, and 2 being traveling out of state!

What is one thing inside the program that surprised you or helped you the most?

THE SUPPORT. It is unreal… The immense support from Rachel, is immeasurable. But most importantly, it is realistic and structured and she leads you to every step that you need to implement to be successful or trouble shoot the problem at hand. And the community… I have met so many friends in Passion to Profit that I see often. A lot from around the country, but a handful in my home state as well. We frequently get coffee together and do work dates. These people are some of the most special friends I have, and I would not have met them without P2P! 

If another photographer were thinking about joining, what would you tell them?

If you want to completely transform your business, sign up now!!! If the investment is holding you back, go back up and look at my wins that have happened because of this program. If you book just ONE wedding in your 12 months with P2P (which you obviously will), your investment will be worth it. It has completely transformed my business and I truly do not know if I will ever be able to quit P2P.
