Here I share 5 things to have on your website for optimization.
Your clients’ journey begins before they even reach out to you. How they are navigating through your website is the beginning of their experience with you.
There are SO many things you need to optimize your website I could go on all day!! But here are 5 quick things to make sure to have on yours!!
1. Clear Point of Contact on Your Homepage
You don’t want to send people on a hunt to figure out how to get in contact with you. A contact button should be all over your site and it should be easy for them to get in communication with you. Make it as easy as possible on them.
2. Clear Direction
What is your client’s journey through your website? Make sure it is clearly navigating them through your site and leading them to where you want them to go.
Don’t over complicate it. Don’t get too fancy with your website to the point where things aren’t clear. Keep it simple!
3. Your Email
Make sure your email address is on every page whether it is at bottom or somewhere else. Sometimes people want to reach out to you for other reasons than just a wedding or session, so make sure they have full and clear access to that so you don’t miss out on opportunities!
You never know what opportunities you could miss out on by not having it on there!
4. Make It About Them
Your website is a hub for your clients. Make sure your website is taking them through the journey of what their experience with you could look like. You instagram is more of a place to be about you
One way to do this is to make sure you aren’t using the word “I” or “me” anywhere on your homepage. Let them know how you are serving them.
5. CTA
Add specific call-to-actions to engage clients which will lead them to the next steps in the process.
Make sure to have a clear call to action near the top of your homepage and all over your site. You just want to get them to your contact form to get in touch with you, so you can take control of their experience from there.
